MEET SHAVONTAY ELMORE

Shavontay Elmore is an author, speaker, pastor, advocate, and community leader whose life and message have been shaped by faith, resilience, and purpose. With a passion for inspiring others, he has dedicated his life to preaching the Gospel, serving his community, and encouraging people to trust God through every season of life.

As a dynamic communicator, Shavontay has ministered to congregations, led community initiatives, and spoken at events centered on faith, hope, leadership, and personal transformation. His messages are known for their authenticity, biblical foundation, and ability to connect with people from every walk of life.

Following the tragic loss of his wife, Trevonna Elmore, to a drunk driving crash, Shavontay’s mission expanded beyond the pulpit. Rather than allowing tragedy to have the final word, he chose to transform unimaginable pain into purpose.

 

Through his writing and public speaking, he shares a powerful testimony of love, grief, healing, and unwavering faith while advocating for stronger awareness about the devastating consequences of impaired driving. His book, 6 Days of Love, tells the deeply personal story of the final days he shared with his wife before their lives changed forever. More than a memoir, it is a testimony of God’s sustaining grace, the power of love, and the hope that remains even in life’s darkest moments. In addition to his accomplishments, Shavontay was awarded an honorary doctorate from the School of the Great Commission Bible College and Seminary.
